To bring healing and restoration to the hearts and minds of God's children.
Our role in the Christian Community
As we are called to continue counseling and teaching, we hope to grow, to become "a multitude of counselors," each called by God to minister in our own gifts and abilities.
The heart’s work of this ministry will be to love and build up each individual within our own organization, offering the structure, support and freedom necessary to be who God calls us to be. Along with prayer counseling and teaching, we also envision working to strengthen, mentor and support other counseling ministries, helping to create networks of care throughout the Christian counseling community.
Our People
 Charles F. Finck III M.S. has been a counselor and teacher for 25 years. In the fall of 2001 he left Elijah House and co-founded Liberty Cross Ministries in Liberty Lake Washington. Charlie specializes in marriage and family counseling and teaches nationally and internationally.
Formerly a pilot in the U.S. Air Force flying B-52's he brings a dynamic and varied history to his presentations. Charlie's desire is to share the message of hope and healing in a relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ. He does this through seminars, schools and scripturally based prayer counseling. Charlie lives in Liberty Lake with his wife, Deborah and their 14 year old son Jonathan.

The Lord touched my life 21 years ago when I was in great personal pain. I was introduced into the healing ways of Jesus, and it changed the course of my life. Since that time I have been walking out my personal walk with Jesus, and ministering to others. This walk has grown gradually over those 21 years. In 1993 the Lord impressed upon me to sell my insurance business and to go back to school. In 1996 I received a Master's degree in counseling from Denver Seminary; in 1997 I connected with Elijah House in Post Falls, Idaho as a counselor; and in 2001, I co-founded Liberty Cross Ministries.
I am licensed in Idaho both as a professional counselor and a marriage and family therapist. My wife, Kay, and I have four grown children, and six beautiful grandchildren.
Statement of faith
We believe in one God, the Father, the Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all that is seen and unseen. We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, eternally begotten of the Father, God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, one in being with the Father. Through Him all things were made. For us men and our salvation He came down from heaven: by the power of the Holy Spirit, He was born of the Virgin Mary, and became man. For our sake He was crucified under Pontius Pilate; He suffered, died, and was buried. On the third day He rose again in fulfillment of the scriptures: He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead, and his kingdom will have no end. We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life, who proceeds from the Father and the Son. With the Father and the Son, He is worshiped and glorified. He has spoken through the Prophets. We believe in one, holy, catholic, and apostolic Church. We acknowledge one baptism for the forgiveness of sins. We look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come. Amen.
